Our New HOME

Well , where do I begin. I have been promising to post photo's of our new home on our blog and I am finally getting around to doing it.

It only took us a week to find the place I don't know what the problem was ..... OK we were a little on the picky side. But over all we are VERY happy where we ended up. Our home was built in 2001, which means that everything is still fairly new. I have to admit it is nice having a more updated kitchen and bathrooms.

The house is a 3 bed, 2 1/2 bath with a large bonus room over the garage. We have big plans for that particular room.

We have decided to separate Aubrey and Brigham for several reasons. One, because one room was painted a light purple and Aubrey claimed it as her room, and the other room was blue. But mainly because Aubrey is 5 now and we think it is about time she had a little more privacy. We are also wanting to but the 2 boys together and have McKay start sleeping in the other room.. Boy, has that backfired. These past 2 nights he has gone from his port-a-crib right next to us, to... in bed with us. The poor thing is spoiled half to death. He will only sleep if you are holding him or lying right next to him. I am serious! As soon as we lay him down he wakes up and starts to cry. For the record we do have to admit He has also been sick and he has lost a lot of his baby fat. So all these night feeding hopefully will bring him back up on his weight.

We have gone to our "potential" ward only once.
Not last Sunday but the week before we were all
sick with the flu. We didn't think that we would make
the greatest first impression by coughing and sneezing
on everybody.

I say our "potential" ward because technically we are
in another ward's boundaries. We live a stone throw
away from the Johnston/ wake County line. We live
on the Johnston county side but the ward boundaries end
at Wake county. Well that's fine and all but the Garner ward
The one we are trying to attend is 15 min. away. The other ward
which we are assigned to is 35. They have announced the purchase
of land for a new building that we will be attending when it is
complete. So we are hoping for a wavier. We'll see how it goes.

Our life here in North Carolina is going great so far. Aubrey loves her new school, and her new friends. We have two 5 year old's as neighbors. One on each side of us. The previous owners left their play set for us so I hardly see my children.

It is starting to get cold at night ( down to the high 30's) and the leaves are changing color.

In reality it would have been more ideal for us (the business) to Stay in Florida until next year. But we decided just to go ahead and move before the holidays and we are so glad we did.

The last picture is of Daddy and Bebo enjoying a pickle on the back porch
