We may not have it all together, but together we have it all

April 2008

Well... i finally had a min. to sit down when I'm not exausted and to
send out some recent photo"s. We are all doing wonderful, it is
starting to get warm... ok, more on the hot side out here. The temps
are in the mid 8o"s and we are running our AC already but we have
actually been enjoying it. We are going to the pool and last weekend
for a family project we worked on a waterpark for the kids (we set up
sprinklers on our trampoline and around the yard)

McKay is getting bigger, it is amazing to wake up in the morning and
actually noticed that he grew over night. He is becoming more alert
and attentive, every once in awhile you can maybe get a smile out of
him but I am sure he is saving up. But he has been a GREAT baby and
Aubrey and Brigham LOVE him SO MUCH!! They are always asking to hold
him.

Work is going well for Steven, it got kinda crazy for awhile right
around the time McKay was born but now it is back to normal and Steven
will be working closer in Tampa (only 2hrs away vs 7) for the next few
weeks.

Aubrey is really enjoying school she only has about one month left. So
I am trying to figure out a schedule that will keep us busy and
flexable for the summer. Swimming lessons are a must this year.

Brigham has finally decided that he wants to talk and boy does he
talk! Granted i can't always understand what he is saying, he gets all
the words right just dosen't put them in the right order all the time,
which I have to admit is probably my fault, he gets that from me. But
talking has only enhanced his ability to tease his sister, and boy
does he tease! Growing up I only had to look at my older brother to
make him go off the deep end, well... Brigham dosen't look he says pee
pee, poo poo, and off goes Aubrey. I can only imagine how this
relationship is going to develop as they get older.

As for me, well I am learning how to function on a limited amount of
sleep again. I have to admit some days are better then others, but I
try to stay busy and we make it through everyday... somehow. No,
really the kids are great and for the most part my days always fly
by. I love being a mom and having the ability to stay home have watch
my kids grow up, it is trully a blessing.

So I Hope you enjoy the photo's and the update. Hopefully the next
e-mail won't be so long in the making.

About the photo's
For pre-school time at the library they brought lama's in to show the
kids, Bebo had a great time feeding them
and Aubrey made a welcome home sign for Steven. She covered one whole
part of our driveway in blue chalk. She was drawing the sky, she spent
probably 2 1/2 hours putting it all together, she was covered on blue
chalk from head to foot by the time she was all done but she did a
great job! Also, because it hasn't rained in awhile we are still
enjoying "walking on the sky".
