Pool Time

We had lots of fun at Donner pool. The pool had been reserved for a family in my parents ward as a graduation/eagle scout award/birthday party. And since we were basically the only young family there we had the waterslide and kid pool all to ourselves, which we used to our full advantage.

Happy Birthday Aubrey

Wow, 5 years old, where did time go?

I can't tell which one is happier, Aubrey, because she is FINALLY five, going on six (she would rather be six, because that's big)
or bebo who really really wants some cake

Here she is, our beautiful Aubrey, 7.7 lbs and 19 1/2 inches long

We have come a long way, haven't we?

Father's Blessing

Aubrey was so excited to get her special blessing, and what a wonderful blessing it was. I know that she is going to have a great year in Kindergarten this year.

Brigham also got a special blessing from his Dad. it is going to be a big adjustment for him having his best friend gone most of the day.

An AWEsome Dad with 2 sweet kids!

Time for a little catch up

Wow so much has happened since our last post I have a lot of catching up to do.
Well... I guess I can sum everything up pretty quickly and then go into detail later on, so here is what we have been up to in fast motion.
1. Trip to Indiana (July 23rd to August 4th) for a family reunion and see my parents before they leave for Cambodia on their mission. Also got to meet my future brother in law, Christopher, YEA!!!! Bep's engaged (to a great guy by the way)!!!!
2. Left from Indiana and drove over to Washington DC for a wonderful visit with Steven's sister Susan and her family the Mezzullo's, made a trip into DC one day and had a great time. (August 5-8th)
3. Drove home to Florida (did i mention that we pulled a trailer the whole way there and back? (What an experience!)
4. Took the whole next week to unpack and put everything back where it belonged. Also worked on a antique cabinet my parents gave us turning it into our entertainment center (turned out really nice if I do say so myself).
5. Aubrey's 5th Birthday (the 18th) and First day of Kindergarten, not forgetting father's blessings the night before.
6. School started Monday and already 2 days off (Tues/Wed) because of Tropical storm Fay.

Well... that's what we have been up to in a nut shell. We are safe and sound here at home. The storm Fay never amounted to much, we have just gotten a lot of rain and a drop in temperature (that's been the best part) no strong winds or tornado's in our area.
