We may not have it all together, but together we have it all

Well it is about time

Steven has been asking me for quite some time to start blogging again, so here I am almost a year later trying to decided if I want to play catch up or just start all over again. Our life for the past year has been busy busy. Steven was accepted to the accelerated nursing program at NAU, so we are back in Flagstaff. We have loved being back and enjoying all that this area has to offer. One of our favorite things to do is going on family bike rides, with all the urban trails around we have been able to really enjoy getting outside. Steven is doing so well in school, somehow managing to balance a crazy school schedule (18 credit semesters) and the family life. With 4 young busy kids in one small house, it gets to be a little crazy and not quite the right setting for getting homework and study done. Aubrey and Brigham are both in school now. Aubrey is in 3rd grade and loving being back.  Brigham just started kindergarten, but he is not to to sure about being gone all day. McKay and Samantha are home with me and we have fun getting are day to day routine errands done. McKay is 3 with the height of a 4 year old and the energy of... well.. a 3 year old! He runs circles (literally) around all of us, and then proceeds to jump off the couch, run around some more, and refuses to slow down until he climbs into bed at night, where he then crashes and is out for the count. Samantha is doing so well, just perfect in every way with not a single lingering effect of her birth defect. She mastered crawling and enjoyed it so much we thought she would never learn to walk. She must of heard us complain because she decided to show us just what she really can do and is walking everywhere now. Mommy is loving the cleaner hands and pants, not forgetting to mentioned less objects in the mouth. She is also really starting to talk. Her first word was Dad-de, not Da Da but Dad-de (oh yes) and Steven could not have been happier. She now can say, Aubrey, Mommy, Kitty, Doggie, Bubble, Thank you, and Please. We are all doing so wonderful, our Father in Heaven truly has been blessing and watching over us.
